One of the founding members of the GJC, Ziena Jalil, spoke to Stuff:

“I want my daughter to be able to realise her potential in the same way as my son. While women’s support groups and networks are important, we need all genders to be part of the solution. Gender equity cannot be achieved with only half the party at the table.”
